Time off to trek to the Himalaya!

Trek_blog2

With the festival of Dashain in full flow, I decided to make the most of the week holiday and escape to the mountains to trek to the Annapurna Base Camp with friends that were visiting me in Nepal.  I had done the trek nearly 9 years before on my first visit to Nepal.  It was great to see the mountains and escape from the city....hard to leave the laptop behind though...first time in several years!
